From new administrator to executive leadership level, the ESC of the Western Reserve offers a variety of professional networking opportunities, professional development series, and customizable options for coaching and support. The ESCWR Curriculum Team members have extensive experience in both building and district-level leadership. Drawing from those experiences, the Curriculum Team is adept at providing support to principals and central office leaders on instructional rounds, coaching models, restorative practices, communication systems, and structures, creating cultures of learning, monitoring school-wide initiatives, and OTES 2.0 implementation. Principal Mentoring Services
The Principal Mentoring services provide comprehensive support to school principals. This includes guidance on instructional rounds, coaching models, OTES 2.0 implementation, High-Quality Student Data Support, and more. The service also offers coaching to create effective systems for communication with parents and staff, fostering transparent communication and strong relationships within the school community.
Through personalized mentorship, the Principal Mentor service empowers school leaders to excel in instructional leadership and navigate educational frameworks, contributing to positive impacts on student learning outcomes and thriving school communities.

Our Classroom Coaching or Training of Instructional Coaches service enhances teaching practices through targeted support and professional development. Offering both classroom coaching and specialized training for instructional coaches, this service aims to improve instructional strategies, classroom management, and coaching effectiveness. The program aligns with the center's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in teaching practices.

- Implement on-site professional coaching, modeling, and data collection.
- Deliver Instructional coaching and framework facilitation.
- Develop and deliver professional development on coaching models: including peer coaching, on-the-spot coaching for active engagement, and implementing instructional frameworks.

Our certified Evaluator provides high-quality educator evaluation services aligned with Ohio’s state-approved evaluation systems—OTES (Ohio Teacher Evaluation System), OPES (Ohio Principal Evaluation System), and OSCES (Ohio School Counselor Evaluation System).
We partner with school and district leaders to ensure evaluations are fair, objective, data-informed, and focused on professional growth, while meeting all state compliance requirements. Through targeted training and ongoing support, we help districts foster a culture of instructional excellence and continuous improvement in student outcomes.
