Generation Z:  What? So What? Now What?

Who: Faculty and Staff , Grades any

What: Generation Z is anyone born after 1996; a generation that is more racial and ethnically diverse than any generation prior.  A generation referred to as “digital natives” as they do not know/remember a time before smart phones and a generation on track to be one of the most well educated, yet least likely to have job as a teenager.  This training will focus not just on the difference between the generations, but also what does that mean for us as educators, mentors, professionals and what can we do to support them.
