All in Play Grant: Expanding Inclusive Opportunities for K-12 Students

Schools grant from the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council. The grant includes the opportunity for renewal over five years, for a potential total investment of up to $375,000.

Beginning in October 2026, the All in Play initiative will help expand meaningful athletics and recreation opportunities for K-12 students with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Lake, Geauga, Portage, Ashtabula, and Cuyahoga counties and surrounding communities.
Through this initiative, ESCWR will work alongside schools, families, recreation departments, and community organizations to:

  • Increase access to athletics and recreation opportunities for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide educators, coaches, families, and peers with training and practical strategies to support participation.
  • Strengthen partnerships among schools and community organizations.
  • Develop sustainable practices that help inclusive athletics and recreation opportunities continue to grow.
