Enjoy lunch with us while having an opportunity to network and collaborate with fellow ELL instructors and program coordinators. This network is designed to share research and evidence-based strategies of best practices for English Language Learners. As more states and districts implement the Science of Reading, questions regarding if and how SoR methods will work for ELL students. The focus of this year’s ESL network will be on how to explicitly implement SoR instruction in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary for English Language Learners. In addition to guest speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers and participate in activities focused on implementing SoR for ELL students. As this network grows and develops, participants will be able to co-construct their learning.
