Who: Faculty and Staff

What: Life is always shifting; up, down, and all around.  This training looks at not just “coping skills”, but ways to highlight the things we do naturally to shift our mindset and perspective when the daily stressors of life hit.  Often, we hear, “I don’t have time for anything other than what I already do” or “coping skills don’t work”.   This training will provide not only a tangible list and description of coping skills (both for big and small emotions), but also the practical examples of how to weave them into your/your student/clients day in a way that feels more natural and consistent.  We hope to provide a different perspective on how to view and use coping skills to provide natural shifts in mood and attention when needed.
