Creating a Local Literacy Plan
Who: Literacy Coaches, Administrators, ELA teachers, & Curriculum directors, Grades K-12
What: Systemic and impactful change in literacy achievement starts with a well developed building or district literacy plan. Join this session to learn the basics of putting together your personalized Local Literacy Plan. Participants will learn why having a plan is important, how to mirror their Local plan with that of the State’s Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement, and ideas for intervention and engagement. Action steps, templates, and example plans will be shared.
