All returning substitutes must complete the Returning Substitute Application yearly if you are intending to remail a substitute for the following school year. If any of your required documents are expired, it is your responsibility to renew them and to provide copies to the ESC of the Western Reserve. We appreciate your commitment to our school districts and the success of our students.
Note: After April 15th of each year, ALL applications received for substitute opportunities will be considered for the next school year. Click on the link below to begin the renewal process.

You must bring a VALID form of ID - Expired ID will not be accepted

Your social security number is required to process the background check.
3. Maintain current certification through the Ohio Department of Education. Follow this
link, to determine renewal.
