Program Offerings at ESCWR Student & Family Resource Centers

ESCWR STUDENT & FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (SFRC) Programs

 ESCWR Traditional Tutoring

HISTORY OF PROGRAM- Tutoring launched in January 2021 and was made available by a grant from Whole Child at no cost for families. Students from ANY district, non-public school and home school in both Lake and Geauga Counties were welcomed to attend the in-person tutoring services at the Hale Road location.  Tutoring was created in response to remediate unfinished learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and funding continued via ESSER dollars until June of 2023.  Site based tutoring expanded in Geauga County in the 2021-2022 school year to make engaging in tutoring easier for families.

Currently ESCWR traditional tutoring is entering its fifth year of free tutoring services that has helped hundreds of Northeast Ohio students achieve academic success!

NEW!  ESC of the Western Reserve has partnered with Martha Holden Jennings Foundation in order to keep tutoring services at no cost for families.  Martha Holden Jennings Foundation will be funding our traditional tutoring program for the 24-25 school  year!
